Thank you Elizabeth. What did you like best? Is there anything you'd like to see or read in an upcoming blogpost? I'd love to see what you are working on too!
thank you Janie! What did you like best? Is there anything you'd like to see or read in an upcoming blogpost? Your website has been up for a while--any new insights?
Your landing page is gorgeous - simple, direct, and that image! The only suggestion I have for you only applies (I think) to those of us with large monitors: maybe break your quote into three lines.
Other than that, it's not clear, unless I look hard for it (which I did), that you have artwork for sale.
I don't drive traffic to my website, but something interesting did happen. I emailed a small press to ask if they were accepting memoir manuscript submissions. They're not, but the editor went to my website, read the excerpts from the memoir, and gave me lovely and encouraging feedback, with specific references to what he had read. This is why I have a website - for all those applications and submissions that ask whether I have one.
Check your website from time to time, make sure outside emails are coming through from your "contact" page. I just sent you one, so that can be the test for January.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful response, Janie. I'll check out that home page quote placement. The image is a crop of one of my pieces (I think it's in the mixed media gallery). Thanks for liking it!
Yes, the availability of my website for people like you described the editor. It's a repository for my work, for sure, but also a gateway into my world. Your contact email did come through. Thanks a bunch for that. c
Love your works, painting and poetry. If you are in V would love to take you to lunch and catch up-life has been very busy and full but I'd love to see you.
Thanks, Celeste. I enjoyed visiting your website too. So many pieces of beautiful artwork!
