One day at a time, Celeste, and though the hours fly by, the minutes are spacious. Everything will be done as it needs to be done. "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well" (Julian of Norwich).

That room of boxes, holding the art of past, present and future - so much potential that will still be there when your body is ready.

Hang in there, Celeste. And thank you for sharing this.

Celeste, glad to see you have landed. This story and the poem are so real and raw - I can relate on many levels- different place, circumstances etc but feelings seem close. We’ve always moved separately, Ray to the 20 hour days at a new building/town- me to different house, town with 2 children in tow, trying to decide if their psyches or finding the toilet paper is most important. I think folks world over relate to “ moving trauma”. It upsets what we have created as “home”. You are a creative, strong and extremely interesting woman, I appreciate all that you share and relate in a snippet here and there. I wish you well, hoping your body is complying and you enjoy this new place. Would love to help if you need/ want an extra pair of hands for anything.
